We are seeking an apprentice level industrial air compressor technician to join our team at our Indianapolis, IN location.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customers have the same positive experience no matter the location; maintain positive customer relations while resolving concerns and answering questions.
  • Ability to lift heavy items when needed (70+ lbs.).
  • Comply with all safety procedures and precautions.
  • Availability must include on call and after hours work when necessary.
  • Experience driving flatbeds, pick-up trucks, and pull behind trailers.
  • Perform service and repair of piston and rotary screw air compressors, multi-brand compressors (oil-flooded and oil-free), and refrigerated/desiccant air dryers.
  • Install new equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Requirements include:

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a low-incident driving record.
  • Excellent work ethic and self-motivated.
  • Proficient in problem solving, process analysis, and troubleshooting in high-pressure situations.
  • Some experience in Air Compressors.
  • Read and comprehend written technical information (manuals, parts’ books, and relevant publications).
  • Ability to walk, stoop, sit, and reach.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, use lifts, and work in an elevated position on a frequent basis.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
