Types of Compressors

Brehob loves to tackle our customers’ biggest air compressor challenges!

If your project requires compressed air, call us! We operate a dedicated facility that sells, services, and rents air compressors. Brehob has the skills and resources to problem solve for you, whether you need a small climate control unit, a large horsepower centrifugal compressor, or something in between.

Rotary Screw Compressors

We offer oil-flooded units in both belt drive and direct drive units. Direct drive units are available in fixed speed, variable displacement air end and variable speed drive. These units range in horsepower from 5-350. In addition, we offer two stage oil free rotary screw compressors. Rotary screw compressors are normally used in applications requiring a large volume of air for long periods of time. For more information, please see our compressor page or call us.

Reciprocating Compressors

We can supply either single stage or two stage in pressure lubricated, splash lubricate and oil-less. These range from ½ hp to 25 hp and are for applications with a 50% duty cycle or less.

Scroll Compressors

Available in either 3 hp or 5 hp, these units can be “multiplexed” to obtain larger flows. Scroll compressors are oil-free and are used in both medical and lab air systems.

Centrifugal Compressors

We offer centrifugal compressors from 900 CFM (250 hp) to 24,000 cfm (6,000 hp) in two stage, three stage and four stage configurations with pressures up to 350 psi. Centrifugal compressors are oil-free, water-cooled units. Centrifugal compressors are found in large manufacturing firms with large and constant demand and are used in every power plant throughout the country.

Brehob’s Air Compressor Division has expertise in double-acting reciprocating compressors, medical air compressors and vacuum systems. For more information, please contact us directly at 800-632-4451 or click the button below.
